Ms. Teri Nava has served as the Executive Director (ED) of the Housing Authority of the City of Calexico (HACC) since December 2015. In this role, she oversees the administration, operations, and strategic direction of HACC’s housing programs, ensuring that residents receive safe, decent, and affordable housing.
Leadership & Responsibilities
Under Ms. Nava’s leadership, HACC manages:
🏠 256 Public Housing Units
🏠 244 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers
🏠 39 Multi-Family Units
🏠 39 Affordable Housing Units
🏠 Recently acquired an 80-unit Senior Apartments Tax Credit Project
With an annual budget of $4.2 million, Ms. Nava ensures that financial resources are effectively allocated to maintain and improve housing programs for Calexico residents.

Under Ms. Nava’s leadership, HACC continues to work toward:

Prior to joining HACC, Ms. Nava held various leadership and administrative roles in Kern and Imperial Counties, where she gained extensive experience in housing, public service, and community development.
